‘3 FROM 3’ - TORTI CONTINUES FORMULA FORD CHAMPIONHIP LEAD

BF Racing South Pacific Marine Group driver Andrew Torti has continued his strong start to the 2026 Victorian State Formula Ford 1600 championship, taking ‘3 wins from 3 races’ during Round 2, at Calder Park Raceway in Melbourne.

Torti was never headed after starting on the front row during the 3 races at the technically demanding circuit, which competed on the short track at the iconic Melbourne venue.

The Queenslander now continues to lead the championship with 3 rounds to go.

The opening wins of the season continue a successful run in open-wheelers as he ended last year with the national championship trophy, having topped the Australian Formula Ford 1600 Nationals at Mallala.

In addition to his Formula Ford driving, Torti will also contest the 2026 Monochrome GT4 Australia competition with Lachlan Evennett, at the wheel of the brand new Toyota Supra GT4 EVO 2, beginning in March at the Phillip Island Grand Prix circuit.
